First time this has happened to me ....
    Windows 10 Insider Preview 17730.1000 (rs5_release)
    Failed to install on ‎8/‎3/‎2018 - 0xc1900101

It also created a new System Reserved Partition (F:) and without thinking I removed the drive letter ... so when I rebooted it blew up with BCD Boot error ... LOL ... Macrium Rescue ISO / Fix Windows Boot Issue to the rescue and it was able to fix it, so now I'm trying to update again.

    Update:
Went to update my Virtualbox VM - Win10 Pro IP on my desktop today and the same thing happened as on my laptop. Appears it was the System Reserved Partition, which was too small at 100mb and the update couldn't increase it, hence the it getting assigned a drive letter. Not sure why this issue hasn't shown up before, but the fix was the same as on my laptop :)

Does anyone know where a photo goes when I send it from my phone to my computer using the new "Phone App" that went live with this build. I created a link and sent the photo but cannot find it anywhere on my PC that is linked to my phone. (Pixel 2 XL)

Downloading now. This was a surprise. Only 3 days since the last build.
Yeah - this is too frequent at the moment. We still have a long way to go before October. Sure we expect frequent updates in the final run in but we still have two months to go.

Once a week would be better until early September.

I don't like the fact that one has to install the Microsoft Launcher in order to use the Phone App features. That launcher cripples my mobile so badly, that I had to uninstall it.

Another thing I don't like either is that MS is "around the bush" with letting insiders know what they have to install. Why can't they just say straight out that "this is exactly what you have to install and this is what will change on your device"

The Microsoft Launcher makes my Android something else but an Android and it cripples everything that makes my Samsung Galaxy Note8 a Note8 by hiding or making features way worse.

A simple service with supporting app would have been enough.

    Known issues for Developers

    • If you install any of the recent builds from the Fast ring and switch to the Slow ring – optional content such as enabling developer mode will fail. You will have to remain in the Fast ring to add/install/enable optional content. This is because optional content will only install on builds approved for specific rings.
Why are they messing with this?... it must be backward compatible.

Holy crap - are you saying you have to use a special launcher - I use Nova Launcher and there is no way I am going to install another launcher just to copy poxy photos. This a totally OTT solution to a problem we never had.

Yet another disastrous upgrade. Overnight I got into a retry loop. This morning it sat on downloading 4% for two hours so I had to use UUPDump to clean install yet again. Again there is no recovery partition.

Thanks but I doubt they would be any different to the UUPDump isos. May try going back to an early RS5 build (I have copies of them all) and see if that will upgrade when I get the time.
