Windows 7 and Office 2010 End of Support

    Last Updated: 03 Aug 2018 at 10:00

Make the shift from Windows 7 and Office 2010 to Windows 10 and Office 365.

Support for Windows 7 will end on January 14, 2020. Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for devices running Windows 7 operating systems. That’s why it’s time to make the shift to Windows 10 today.

Office 2010 will reach its end of support on October 13, 2020. If you haven't already begun to upgrade your Office 2010 environment, we recommend you start now.

It was just a matter of time, honestly.

Sadly, I have a few friends that are still running Windows ME and Windows XP. They simply do not want to upgrade!!!

Wasn't this announced some time ago? We've known it was 2020 for ages.

It's a reminder to prepare the shift before the deadline is up.

Got a buddy running 7 on two vintage Laptops and refuses to even talk about upgrading. He's never seen Win 10 but is terrified of it. We are friends, but I'm convinced he's a Charter Member of The Flat Earth Society.

10 is a better option than 8/8.1 which was a terrible UI experience. Perhaps you could let him play with your computer for practice.
