Well updates continue to disappoint. Bluetooth is unusable!!!! Even IF I can get my BT keyboard to connect finally, it renders multiple letters, and goes on uncontrollable runs. I haven't liked a single build over the last few months. This is quickly getting old. If their next update is as crappy as the last five, I will leave the insider program. Really tired of this crap...
I have a K800 KB just like yours. I use the dongle that came with it, also for the mouse (MX Master). Both Logitech. Is there a reason you are using BT and not the USB dongle? I have never had any issues.

    Try this if you can...

In Explorer, go to a folder in Details View with many files of different length names, right click a Header and choose 'Size all columns to fit',
    now, scroll to where there may be a file name of a longer length and 'Size all columns to fit' again;
then go back to the previous view and do it again...

does it change the size all the time depending where in the folder you are viewing!?!?!?
Guess it is sizing the columns to current view... (here too)

Skip ahead does not recognise my wifi adaptor at all.

It is not visible in device manager, even if I select to show hidden devices.

I know adaptor is fine as it works fine on 1803.

I have powered down, rebooted, troed reset my network, done rescans etc but no sign of the adaptor

Oddly enough it picks up bluetooth which is on same adaptor.

Any ideas what else to try - I just cannot see any way to get adaptor recognised.

Coincidentally, I ran across a missing Gigabyte Bluetooth mouse yesterday, so I just tried it and it connected just like it should. In fact, I'm using it now. It's kinda small, but that's OK, because I have my Logitech mouse and wave keyboard for normal use. I just wanted to test this one to be sure it works. And it does.

When I had my new Cable Internet installed about a month or so ago, the tech hardwired my desktop to it; said it works faster and I'm not going to argue, since I still have to use a password.

Maybe you should try hard wiring to see if it works?

Only thing in your list I don't see is removing the device, driver software and all, and reinstalling it.

Have 3 computers that are on WI-FI and have no problem with them under 17723 or Skippy. Sorry for your troubles. Very frustrating when the adapter works fine in your 1803 installation. Did you get an update with the new build of your adapter? I've had that problem in the past and had to search and go back to the previous adapter driver.

I can't remove any drivers as the device is not listed at all in device manager

The only possible thing I can think of is the vhd/installation I am booting to, was initially created in Hyper-V which only has an "ethernet" connection, and I use same vhd to native boot from Host. I am certain I have done this before though and detected wifi - so something is not working correctly.

I guess I am going to have to try directly install on host to see if it detects the wifi adaptor that way.

RE: New Windows 10 Insider Preview Slow Build 17713.1002 - July 26 Insider - Page 20 - Windows 10 Forums

One positive change in 18204 is that it loads network drivers and enables network earlier than previous Insider builds. Checking the issue described in my earlier post (see above referral), I noticed that network was enabled quite late in boot sequence, Windows usually booting to desktop without network connection and only enabling network a few seconds later.

In 18204, network is enabled quite early (before sign in) and all my mapped network drives are connected automatically when on desktop. This is as it in my opinion should be.
