Does anybody have any idea what this platform support for virtual machines option is?

Just found out that it also enables (at least in part) Hyper-V. VMware player can't mount and work with it enabled.

lol, 17713.1000 won't start the WU final setup process (the reboot phase), no matter what I do. It starts configuring Windows when I hit restart, but after that it just reboots normally into Windows, skipping the setup.

I've reseted WU, checked everything for integrity, but nothing helps.

Will make an ISO next and force this update.

EDIT: oh almost forgot, upgrading to Skippy from 17713.1000 went smooth as a baby bum.

I wonder if this has something to do with the bug that I mention here, maybe, it happens to me in both builds.

I can't update to 17723.1000. Installation just fails with no exit code, no event logs, nothing.

This is yet again another of those totally useless builds that should be working decently well by now since we are quite close to next release already. But it seems to be too much to ask for. I think for every new Windows iteration/version the quality before release gets worse and worse.

I never had any issues on previous Windows versions, but starting from RS4, there has been a lot of crap going on even just a few days before release and even after actual release.

I'm surprised that RS6 install was really smooth.
