I checked and my 4790k isn't on the list.
Apologies, thought this was Haswell from the designation but it is Devil's Canyon.

You can verify the CPU ID with InSpectre

    Haswell is CPU ID 306C3

Asus patched the bios on my mb several weeks ago after which it passed InSpectre on both counts so the software patch isn't really needed.

Is it just me who has to install the packages manually?

No, you're not the only one. Don't touch WU anymore.

Does right clicking work (i.e. have you accidentally switched the primary button function)?

Does any clicking or mousing work (i.e. have you accidentally turned off the touchpad)?

Might also be a driver issue (try 'tap to click'). HTH

Hi @winactive yeah my right click work fine, and even the laptop track pad too work both left & right click. Only my nec model laser mouse left click stopped working completely. BTW I did try my sister mouse and found out that left & right clicking works like a charm. So that means either a windows recently updates messed things up or driver issues. Also is this normal i see 2 "HID compliant " in the device manager ?

Try deleting them and replugging the device or use USBDeView or remove drivers with Geek Uninstaller then reinstall.

Have you verified it's not the mouse? Try on a different computer. It would be a weird coincidence but possible.
