Cumulative Update KB4345421 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.167 - July 16

I have three systems with Win10 Pro installed and Windows Update set to tell me when updates are available, but don't download or install them until I give the OK. I am no longer getting notices for these interim cumulative updates, only for the normal 2nd Tuesday one. Don't know why. I have seen some updates to MS Office at non-2nd Tuesday times.

I only check for updates manually, and still didn't get it

If you were referring to the microcode update, can you please check if your CPU is on the list.

It's misleading to say this update is delivered by Windows Update, it isn't in my experience and understanding.

The only way this update is installed in 1803 (KB4100347) is IF you manually installed KB4090007 in 1709.

If you clean install 1803 it's a standalone and must be installed.

KB41000347 still only has April MCUs not the July MCUs and I've still failed to install variant 4 mitigation in 17134.167

As a matter of fact I did install a clean 1803 on my laptop, and the microcode wasn't install, and I had to install it manually.

mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll version was 10.017134.1 theIntel Microcode update revision was something I can't remember but not 0x84.

after the update it changed to 10.017134.48 and the microcode version is now 0x84.

Well, I hate to break it to you but the July13th MCU for Coffee Lake is 0x85 try searching SA-00115

Why would I hate it? I would love to be up to date!

Intel does update microcode for Linux regularly, but unfortunately Microsoft will update it only for major security vulnerability.
