    It's a toss up! Classic has a few features not available in the New and vice versa!

    One thing I did like about Classic is the ability to change font and size in the IM only!

    OK, I may be a tad off base here. I think the version that came with Windows 10 through updates is 12.x something or other? I'm trying to figure out which version it is, but so far, haven't been able to find help/about.

    The Desktop version is better than the Store version,
    just make sure you expand the drop down menu and choose the bottom one...

    No way! There are too many things missing to update to 8. If they don't add some of the *basic* features that people use, I will be switching to Discord.

    Too late - I've already changed to Desktop v8.27.

    Much as I preferred v7, I can't be bothered switching back & forwards.....

    It's only uninstalling one, and installing the other. Is there something else preventing you from going back? If you would prefer to?
