A clean install starts with formatting drive C:, there is nothing to recover.
A recovery partition is used to recover back to the install state at a later date.

I didn't get a recovery partition either on my clean install.

Sounds like a bug then. Problem is the install was done with unofficial media so no one is going to take any notice.

    Build 17713 install problems.

I'm having the same issue installing 17713. When it downloads and goes through to the "restart now" stage all my laptop will do is restart back into Windows and doesn't start the install stage at all. I tried disabling my security system and deleting the Download folder under Software Distribution and downloading the update again but it still does the same, restarts Windows on the 17711 build I have already installed.

Yeah. I had three GSODS at the restart and it went through a recovery and one where it immediately booted straight back to 17711.

    Anybody have this bug:
The Clock/Calendar won't open unless you open the Start Menu first?
Is that when you click on the time and date at the bottom right, Edwin?

    If it is, mine works.

Same bug in the Photo app. Double clicking 'file information' bring up feedback hub (convenient really )

I've clicked on Notifications and it works fine. What's wrong with it on your end, Count?
