New Windows 10 Insider Preview Slow Build 17713.1002 - July 26 Insider

I tried again today to fix Eset and couldn't, no matter what I tried.
Even the newest update didn't help it.
Attachment 196981
I used Revo to remove it, Defender took over and all is well again.
Have you posted on the ESET forum about this ? Or contacted eSET direct with a bug report ?

So its not actually out yet?
I don't think so, Swarfega. So far, Microsoft has released only confusion.

I have that very same Eset version of yours but I still hold on to it because I do not like to give the hole power to MS (OS, Firewall + Anti-virus).
Honestly, my Windows Defender is switched off by Group Policy. I will be waiting a bit longer to see if a new build perhaps bring a solution.

I’m like you, no clicking on anything I’m not reasonably sure of, safety/security-wise
Me too, Magilla. Me too.

I am not an expert here but it isn't a Eset bug, it is OS related, if I go back some builds before all those news features, all works OK, actually all of my problems will be solved.

MS have probably changed some undocumented feature ESET uses.

The entropy is high!

You beat me to it Keith, I was just about to post the same. As far as I know ESET won't try to change their code until the RS5 code is more finalised. I prefer to keep running NOD32 and hold back on RS5 releases for now.

I use Eset Nod32 on my RTM 1803, but haven't put it on my Laptops yet. I guess I need to do that just to see if it will work on Build 17713.1002.

It would be a useful move Wynona, I'd be interested to hear your findings.
