Thing is, Magilla, we need to install some other apps, since literally no one will restrict themselves to one suite such as Office 365! Besides, Microsoft has already installed quite a bit of crapware with Windows 10.
    - nice to see how easily 365 flows across devices, though..

i don’t disagree with you, @Wynona; I was just making a statement to indicate that without other apps, Ad-ons and programs, the build seems to work nicely.

Absolutely, no, I do not want my mouse hovering to open folders. I've already seen it do that on occasion, and it's opened things I didn't intend to open in the first place. I have Windows set so that one click of the mouse opens a file/app; hovering selects the file/app.
I set up nearly all my Favorites and Start Menu items in category folders and like being able to open those folders open without having to click on them. It's faster and easier for me. FF enables that with Bookmarks. Edge doesn't with Favorites. Likewise, Classic Shell enables it with menu items. Windows Start Menu doesn't. Whether we prefer opening folders by hovering or not, I think we should have the choice.

Yes . . . that is, if Outlook would always behave. The only other problem I have with Office 365 is that although there's a dark gray theme, I can't seem to get the part of the input page to show as anything but bright white.

Agreed, we should have a choice.

Gotta look for em! And yes, some are as old as the hills!!! Or, you have to 'Browse...' for some of your own.

    Here's a list of places to look:imageres.dllshell32.dllpifmgr.dllexplorer.exeaccessibilitycpl.dllddores.dllgameux.dllmoricons.dllmmc ndmgr.dllmmres.dllnetcenter.dllnetshell.dllnetworkexplorer.dllpnidui.dll sensorscpl.dllsetupapi.dll wmploc.dllwpdshext.dllcompstui.dllieframe.dlldmdskres.dlldsuiext.dllmstscax.dll wiashext.dll
There's no doubt there are sources to get icons. But I think the point is that it shouldn't be so painful. And it is painful. I have long searched wide and far to find modern, cool looking icons for everything in Win10. But 98% of all that is out there is old and antiquated looking. It's hard to find something really forward thinking with shape and color. Also, Windows puts you through a ton of crap just to use them, and as soon as there's a new build, all that work is GONE.

Surely that's not the point? Insider builds and no enhancement for Folder icons, basic stuff, is unbelievable. You can download various folder .ico's since time immemorial. Why would Microsoft embarrass themselves by their OS (preview) samples with this Windows 10 as a service beats me.
EXCELLENT POINT!!! M$ should be thinking in this vein, but they just don't. And at the very least, they should make it much, much, much easier to permanently replace their old tired icons.

You must be talking about some unknown new Microsoft browser. I only know two Microsoft browsers in Windows 10.IE, although not being the best is also not the worst in the world, and Edge being absolutely the best browser I have ever used.
Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwhat????????????? You clearly are in the minority here, and probably the ONLY person I've EVER heard feel this way. In every single forum and chat I've ever visited, the consensus is always that IE was ALWAYS a disaster, and Edge is a prettier disaster. I think Edge is one of the worst browsers I've ever used. Maybe not the worst, but not far from it.

Lol, latest IE isn't that terrible, but previous versions were disasters.

I've completely switched to Edge, and would not have done it unless it wasn't performing very well. I use it on Windows and Android and I don't think I'll go back to any other browser. Only 2 thing that annoys me is the poor bookmark manager and no official support for Samsung DeX (yet).
