New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast & Skip Ahead Build 17711 - July 6 Insider

Surely that's not the point? Insider builds and no enhancement for Folder icons, basic stuff, is unbelievable. You can download various folder .ico's since time immemorial. Why would Microsoft embarrass themselves by their OS (preview) samples with this Windows 10 as a service beats me.

Maybe then if they intend to make a change they would get Windows Explorer renamed properly to File Explorer in the many place it shows up.

You can extract the contents of any of them to a folder with 7-Zip or such. You get a folder with all kinds of weird stuff in it. Icons of all sizes and shapes.

using Paint3D gives various save options for snip-saving filetypes ..

Anyone still have the 'explorer.exe' issue? I have to re-start it to get windows moving smooth again and to get my desktop wallpaper back. I don't like an ugly black screen LOL.
