Windows 10 OS Worldwide History

The almost vertical growth line for the A18U update is unprecedented in Windows 10 history. Will it reach almost every eligible PC next month?

Note: we don't have the data for the initial rollout of the first update to Windows 10 (1511, also known as Threshold 2). So it's a straight line from 0 to the first data point we have on August 22nd, 2016.

Windows 10 OEMs Worldwide

The list of top-10 PC vendors remains almost unchanged since the last time we looked at it in March. The leaders (HP and Dell) have gained a little market share while some others in the top-10 have lost a bit. MSI and Samsung have swapped places at #8 and #9 respectively.

Note: We made a solid attempt at combining variations of reported OEM name for top brands but at the long tail some brand variations may be reported as separate line items.
