slicendice -- One other thing for benefit of those who may not know -- Screen Sketch should work similar to Snipping Tool in this respect: After selecting the area to be clipped as an image, simply r-click inside that area and choose Copy; then you can even close the Tool (clicking 'No' to not save the clip). Then open Paint, click Paste button, and save to your choice of common formats. Later!
Yeah, however I personally see no use for either tool. I use PrnScr and Ctrl+Alt+PrnScr and paste the buffer to Paint or whatever app I need to use at that particular moment.

Too much hassle for me to fire up multiple tools for such simple task.

Well said...I just love to help others, and info + options is a wonderful thing. There is a flaw in my thinking, and that is that I'm thinking!

Yeah. It's probably delayed by holiday week.

Welcome @scoopjeff. You are correct. Nothing on this side of the pond either—so far. We are getting a new build each week for the most part, at this stage of ‘development’ but holidays in USA sometime cause a delay. Other things - like misbehaving software with too many bugs may cause delays also. Looks like you are a transplant and/or dual citizen from your posted flags. Anyway welcome aboard and enjoy the dialog and sharing and support.

Nothing wrong in thinking, and especially nothing wrong in helping others. I am certain many find your information very useful.

Some personal history (feel free to skip):
Ever since I played a game called Operation Flashpoint and later Armed Assault (to be efficient one need to use pretty much every key available on the keyboard), I learned how powerful a keyboard can be, and since then I've been striving for using as many keyboard shortcuts as possible. Windows 8 helped me become more efficient and Windows 10 is even better at that. I rarely use a mouse, except of course for things that can't be accomplished using a keyboard.

Are you running a recent RS5 build? Having strange display issues (shifted on-screen windows) with multiple external monitors on recent builds? Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then Cancel. Will clear the issue. New bug we know from #WindowsInsider feedback and are working on fixing!
