Just found out that my anti-virus isn't working properly either.

I have the exact problem. Tried a repair thru Revo, didn't work.
Tried to remove and reinstall, same result.

On it now. The Dell XPS 2720 was ready for a reboot in the background, the Venue Pro 11 is 8% into installing. The Surface Pro 3 is in Germany with my wife and son on their road trip. They have no Internet access this week, so they don't have to worry about the upgrade for a while. I'll report back if anything weird happens. But so far, so good.

The Beta tag and Microsoft Edge should be removed from this and all future builds until MS does something to fix Edge. It is the worst and slowest browser in existence. It has been bad all along, but now it is absolutely terrible. It is impossible to even go to Facebook and see what is on it. The news feed refreshes every few seconds and Edge takes you right to the very top each time. After 3 or 4 times of doing this the browser finally gives up and says it cannot connect with the web site. Other sites are better because they don't have to refresh every few seconds. Still unable to use Roboform with it. When you click on the Icon you just get a blank box.
FB is working perfectly fine in Edge on my system. I don't use nor like Edge, but thought I'd test FB on Edge after reading your comment, and it worked normally.

After updating to 17704 I am seeing some display anomalies. The context menu is absolutely hideous. The Taskbar and Startmenu are missing transparency. I am also seeing display errors on certain elements in Explorer. Are these new bugs? Is anyone else seeing any of these errors?

    Attachment 193762
My context menus are all working fine, with no problems or irregularities. Also no problems with maximizing windows, or with my monitors.

There are multiple reports that I've seen around (evidence below) of Sets not being gone from this build for everyone. Any way to truly dump it in those weird cases? This wouldn't matter much except it being around still means closing Win32 windows is slow in many cases. Using the Group Policy for Sets doesn't help.

Sets is still on my system, and working. Although, the plus sign on the menu bar does not work. Other than that it is working normally on my system.

I had some different display anomalies.
I have 3 monitors, the third one is normally disabled. Because it is driven by the onboard graphics some of the "updating" windows used to appear there when installing a new build. They seem to have changed that, but I had it enabled while updating this am. When I disabled it the rest of the video got all upset and windows were overlaid and unresponsive till I Ctrl, Alt, Del, signed out and back in.
I've found that a second, and/or 3rd restart after installing a new build seems to be necessary to get everything working as it. But maybe the system needs more time to settle down after a new build than I give it!
I have transparency on the Taskbar and Start Menu, but it is minimal, almost opaque.
My monitors are all working normally, and I have reg transparency on my taskbar and start menu.

Could someone check their registry to see which DWORD is for the Adjust video based on lighting setting below, and post back with the DWORD?

I believe the DWORD value will be in the registry key below, but I don't have this setting available to verify which DWORD and if 1 or 0 is on/off.

Doesn't exist here, probably because I don't have laptop with light sensor but there are some new ones.

That's what my thoughts are as well. Hopefully, someone will be able to confirm.

Edit: BTW, this is on my desktop.
I don't know what I'm looking at, of course, and won't be messing around in there.

The update took me by surprise today after Wednesday's postponing. The Edge is almost working ok except for one small niggle which I haven't fathomed out yet.
The list of stored favourites is working ok except that the mouse wheel scrolls horizontally instead of vertically. I may have the width wrong, there is nothing helpful in the mouse settings that I can see.
There doesn't seem to be any drag options to increase the width of the favourites when they are displayed.
