The Beta tag and Microsoft Edge should be removed from this and all future builds until MS does something to fix Edge. It is the worst and slowest browser in existence. It has been bad all along, but now it is absolutely terrible. It is impossible to even go to Facebook and see what is on it. The news feed refreshes every few seconds and Edge takes you right to the very top each time. After 3 or 4 times of doing this the browser finally gives up and says it cannot connect with the web site. Other sites are better because they don't have to refresh every few seconds. Still unable to use Roboform with it. When you click on the Icon you just get a blank box.

After updating to 17704 I am seeing some display anomalies. The context menu is absolutely hideous. The Taskbar and Startmenu are missing transparency. I am also seeing display errors on certain elements in Explorer. Are these new bugs? Is anyone else seeing any of these errors?

Edit: Updated on July 01, 2018
All the issues that I reported a few days ago appear related to using the app mode set to Dark in Personalization. When I switched to the light mode and stopped and restarted explorer.exe all issues went away. Feedback Hub updated.

There are multiple reports that I've seen around (evidence below) of Sets not being gone from this build for everyone. Any way to truly dump it in those weird cases? This wouldn't matter much except it being around still means closing Win32 windows is slow in many cases. Using the Group Policy for Sets doesn't help.

I had some different display anomalies.
I have 3 monitors, the third one is normally disabled. Because it is driven by the onboard graphics some of the "updating" windows used to appear there when installing a new build. They seem to have changed that, but I had it enabled while updating this am. When I disabled it the rest of the video got all upset and windows were overlaid and unresponsive till I Ctrl, Alt, Del, signed out and back in.
I've found that a second, and/or 3rd restart after installing a new build seems to be necessary to get everything working as it. But maybe the system needs more time to settle down after a new build than I give it!
I have transparency on the Taskbar and Start Menu, but it is minimal, almost opaque.

I can't believe it, I made an in place upgrade with the ISO created with the files downloaded with the Miniserver, however WU downloaded and is installing this build again, I always have the updates delayed for a week since I don't use WU, I had not noticed this until the "Restart" prompt appeared, LOL.
2 things to comment on this build, the first, by right clicking on the options in Settings and choosing "Pin to Start", the app crash and the second is a detail that nobody has commented but that I like, the file explorer now has a lighter gray tone.

I have used Edge as my main browser on all machines since October 2014. I have been impressed to see how each new build has made it better and better. Fast, visually pleasing.

    I really like Edge.

On reflection, are people adding 2+2 and making 5?

Comment below does not specifically say SETS will not be in RS5. However, time is running out I guess?

I have to say, without SETS, there is little of interest now in RS5 that makes me that interested in it. I feel MS have lost the plot now.

"If you have been testing Sets, you will no longer see it as of today’s build, however, Sets will return in a future WIP flight. Thanks again for your feedback."

    This build sounds trouble.

My desktop refreshes everything on every click.

Good to see the dropdown menus finally running on Edge, as in Chrome, although the animation on Edge is much better, in my opinion, in the flight notes there is an image, but seeing them in action is much better.
