No, it's not solved when you have to do at least another step, I still haven't seen a graphic program that doesn't do JPEG, GIf and other formats natively. Even lowly Paint can save in 7 formats. Snipping tool 3 formats etc.
CountMike, likely MS hasn't overlooked this point in development, but verification is absent. I too want format save options in a final release of Screen Sketch, but I am not an Insider so perhaps y'all could do that up-vote thingy you do so well. Especially per f14tomcat's reply! Excellent points were made by Kari, CountMike (yourself), kado897, and slicendice -- yet BugMeister hit the nail on the head for temporary simplicity in the mean time. Hope the following helps efficiency...

Paint is quick for converting high-res images on the fly (lower for storage space issues, etc). Only once in a while do I use JPGs in posts, emails, and the like so I don't think of it as a hastle, but part of a simple process. The key in Win10 is to Pin Paint to Start as a Tile (lowest-left position) -- keeps it two fast clicks away.

The Creative bug is back on this build. My Audigy FX is not working as well. What's odd is that it wasn't working for the 2 builds before 17692, on 17692 it was working perfectly and now it's not working again on 17704. It's a beta, ok, but sometimes I'm honestly asking myself what the **** they're doing.
Yea I'm not sure honestly myself, For now I just enabled my onboard audio In BIOS so I at least have something working.

Correct, which is why I didn't mention it.

I can concur with those having the 'restarting/freezing' Win Explorer issue. Resource manager shows no unusual activity either.

I still have Classic Shell installed and when Explorer restarts (either on it's own or if you do it), the Classic Shell will again work just fine....that is until you are done with it and click outside of it.

I have dual side by side monitors (continuous running display) and noticed if one Start Menu Icon freezes on one monitor, I can jump to the other monitor and click on the Classic Shell Icon and it works...only once however. I then can go back to the previous monitor and click on the Icon and it will work again (only once though per screen). It seems you can use it half a** like by switching screens and using both start menu buttons (if you have it set up like that). LOL

P.S. I know why the Classic Shell won't behave with the last two updates and I am going to fix it so I can use it and if any one else would like to use it as before. Let me know if your interested.

Rafael Rivera, author of MACH2 is one of those IT pros I really respect. He is a walking Windows Encyclopedia, I trust him, his executables, scripts and batches 100%.

Having said the above, I must say I agree with what you said, Keith. It should be no surprise to anyone that use of "unauthorized" tweaks, registry hacks and Windows system mods, third party snake-oil cleaners and tweakers and such correlates with number of users having unexpected system crashes or other serious issues.

Windows is capable to take care of itself when everything done to it is valid and done using officially supported methods and tools.

Either Windows runs or it does not. Sometimes it needs a small push to get it working, but usually it's just a driver issue or a bad registry permission issue.

I've said this before. I mostly only use MS tools on my system, except for some 3rd-party tools that does not affect the system in any way. Usually it's a quite stable ride.

I've run my other laptop 24/7 for 31 days and 8hours in a row without rebooting. No issues at all. I finally had to reboot because of a cumulative update.

I was finally able to create an ISO using a VMware WS 14 VM. The filename is 17704.1000.180623-1611.RS_PRERELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO
3.9 GiB (4,184,934,400 bytes) I created a new VirtualBox VM using it. PM me if you need it.

Ok, this is blowing my mind.

On Build 666, trying to get to the latest, It was not installing.

Today I decided to reset the PC and wipe my data. So I went thru that, and …

Now, it has the build 666 but showing me that it is an Enterprise Insider Preview vice what I had, won't activate with my MS account, and it looks like I'll have to completely wipe and reinstall this.

I'm lucky this isn't my primary system, any other suggestions?

    Ugh ...

Did you do the Reset under Recovery Options? New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast & Skip Ahead Build 17704 - June 27-2018-07-01_07h55_53.png

My understanding is that will re-install what you already have, just fresh.

That was mine as well, and I had.

That was easily solvable though thru our forum, I searched and found how to downgrade it, using the generic key, it then tied to my MS account and activated with my digital licence. :)

Now to see if it gets offered 17704 again and actually updates, if not I'm going to go crazy hehehe.

Make sure you are still on Fast Ring. If not offered, there are options.
