Had to reset Windows Update to get upgrade working, but after doing it, the upgrade went relatively fast.

A somewhat weird detail in my upgrades is that Office deactivates itself every time I've upgraded. Fortunately I don't have to completely uninstall / reinstall Office anymore to get it reactivated as I was forced to do in all build upgrades between January and April.

Now launching any Office application after the upgrade, I will get this:

Clicking Next, Office will be immediately reactivated:

I am satisfied that I no longer have to uninstall / reinstall or deploy a new Windows image, but I just find it weird that Office at least in my case loses activation every time after an upgrade and needs to be reactivated.

Sets is working ok but initially had to refresh the new tab page to get the Frequent destination, Apps and News feed to show. Seems to have settled now. Previous tabs working but taking a screen shot of this oddity,

    crashed Windows Explorer.
Cursor still black in PowerShell and CMD.

Changing text size larger than 120%, things become badly truncated!

The update failed the first time. When it rebooted after the POST and BIOS it never started back up. After waiting about 30 minutes I manually rebooted and it recovered to the previous version. However, it was corrupted as it couldn't find the update again. I restored the disc image using Macrium back to my 6/11 disc image. The second time was successful.

Steven, I find that after every clean install, I'm put back on the slow ring. I don't know why it does that, but it does.

I had a request for restart when I came back from dinner. So I have no idea how long it took. But the restart was very quick. The new tab for sets is completely different now. It looks more like MSN now. Where is the "apps" link?
