New Windows 10 Insider Preview Slow Build 17692.1004 - July 2 Insider

Now installing 23% chugging along. I'm not sure whether I will try UUP2ISO right away. It failed miserably on build 17686 mostly hanging the system and once finished complained about a missing file.

You should retry the update right away. My experience is that if I've been dumped, as you say, from Fast to Slow when I change back to Fast the update starts up immediately.

Have already tried several times.....here is my latest up to the minute try.

Believe the reason why cannot update is because had to do a "Reset this PC" as it appeared to have downloaded twice....leaving me short on disc space.

Reset solved the problem gaining some 30GB....then dumped me in the slow lane.

No, I wasn't. I copy/pasted from the release notes in post #1.

I wonder if the classic shell problem is related to the start menu issue in the notes.
