Winver says I am running 1803 - 17134.112 but when I check updates I get this:

    Cumulative Update KB4284835 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.112 - June 12-updated.png

Sorry that may be too small to read but it says I am missing important security and quality fixes. When I check for updates, I just get this same notice.

Windows 10 Pro Desktop and Windows 10 Home Laptop both FAILED.

Used Windows update, then downloaded the standalone update. Both failed.
The install in Windows went fine, then during the reboot shut-down completed to 30%, rebooted and then on returning to the install failed at 100%, "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing Changes"!!!!!

    Ran sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
Cortana, which I disabled was restored, but nothing else needed repair.
    Still failed, same Error 0x800f0922
I have faced the same issues "We couldn't complete the updates, Undoing changes, Don't turn off your computer". Here is a list of actions taken before I finally got the update (KB4284835) to install.
    - Run sfc /scannow. No integrity violations.
    - Troubleshoot Windows Updates and apply the "Fix". That was a no go. It didn't help.
    - Run the following DISM.exe command lines as per screenshot:

-After that,I went to Microsoft Update Catalog to get the standalone package which finally installed successfully. I did the same for both of my machines.

Check in your installed updates. If it shows, uninstall it and get the standalone installer from post #1.

What did it get? Something with the CPU microcode and all the Spectre stuff? MS calls that Performance.

This is the second time I've had problems installing a cumulative update. I'm the type of person who prefers to use Update and Shutdown after I've used the computer for the day rather than Update and Restart straight away. While the update shows installed in update history, I am still being prompted to restart.

    Anyone else getting this?
