Windows 10 Pro Desktop and Windows 10 Home Laptop both FAILED.

Used Windows update, then downloaded the standalone update. Both failed.
The install in Windows went fine, then during the reboot shut-down completed to 30%, rebooted and then on returning to the install failed at 100%, "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing Changes"!!!!!

    Ran sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
Cortana, which I disabled was restored, but nothing else needed repair.
    Still failed, same Error 0x800f0922

I'm ready for it. I have a current system image, two earlier system images, a new recovery disk, a fresh restore point, and double backups of the user files. Just waiting to see if WU picks it up automatically.

hmm they don't appear to have addressed the OneDrive issue.

Yes, it only crashes with certain apps installed, Sumatra be a known one. There must be other unknown ones as I don't have Sumatra.

Is it me or is Windows suddenly a bit snappier than before the update? :)
I've only done my first (old, under-powered) test PC so far but yes it does seem quicker.
Oddly, the mandatory restart was a lot slower and I got loads of 7031 and 7034 "Service Control Manager" related System Events - all concerned with Search

After another (faster) restart, Event Viewer is clean and it does seem quicker to load (for example) Chrome with BBC iPlayer. Not a very scientific test, of course.

I find it unusual that the update doesn't include a fix for issues with local network connections.
    I'll drink to that!

What issues are they? I ask because since I updated to 1803, I've had no networking issues at all. I'd just like to know what to look out for.
