2018 Microsoft Keynote at Computex
Building the Future: Intelligent cloud & intelligent edge
Speaker: Nick Parker, Corporate Vice President, Consumer Device Sales, Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft Corporate Vice President, Nick Parker, will deliver a keynote at 2:00pm on Wednesday June 6, at the Taipei International Convention Center, as part of Microsoft’s 16th annual presence at Computex. Parker is responsible for the company’s device partnerships spanning the intelligent cloud and the intelligent edge - where billions of connected devices provide seamless access to the cloud and the power of AI.
During the 90-minute keynote, Parker will talk about how the intelligent cloud and the intelligent edge are shaping the next phase of tech innovation. This phase represents a world where computing is more powerful and ubiquitous from the cloud to the edge, where AI capabilities are rapidly advancing across perception and cognition, where the physical and virtual worlds are coming together to create richer experiences and all of this is fueled by data that helps us better understand our customers and users in new, meaningful ways.
Parker will discuss the myriad opportunities such a future represents for the device partner ecosystem to innovate, collaborate and deliver new products, solutions, services and experiences that empower people and organizations to achieve more. He will speak to experiences currently in development and showcase some of Microsoft’s newest innovations across a range of platforms. In addition, Parker will show a variety of new devices and experiences from our partners and offer his perspective on strategies for growth.
