As quick as that all happened, I rebooted the computer just for the hell of it and voila, there is sets, again. Don't ask me why or what for, or anything.

I was able to flash my motherboard BIOS to the latest beta which was released in 2014. As all of you know this is a rush. Now if the computer shuts off unexpectedly I can eliminate a crucial component as the culprit. Let's hope I can test it out with a new build tomorrow.

    Latest Beta?

    From 2014???
They never came out with a finale version?
I would be very cautious then

Latest BIOS I have on mine is f14e and is/was working fine until last year when I switched to Ryzen. I'm just about to switch this MB and FX 6350 to Phenom II system but it was working fine with earlier versions of W10. Will see what happens.

I also switched to Ryzen last year, but my experiences have been better, not worse. My Ryzen processor uses a lot less electricity, gives me way more power and costs less than half as much. I will NEVER go back to Intel. They have been screwing over the end user for decades. Now that AMD has a foot in their ass, Intel is forced to make better deals for all of us. That alone is worth supporting AMD, but there are a whole host of other reasons as well.

All the rest of the BIOS's were from 2012. I will buy a Ryzen system as an upgrade but if I can avoid a trip to the shop and just buy a network card, which my wife can install, I'm acturally good for the time being. As far as Intel v AMD I fully agree with @smactilactus.
