    If UUP updates get any faster my SSD is going to go up in smoke. This is a new record for me.

    My oldie laptop with Toshiba washing their hands of it - took three hours and 46 minutes from start update to desktop. Now that is fast for moi. Really impressed.

    I managed to get it installed by using a ISO file. IMHO MS can stick UPP where the sun don't shine.

    Was hoping this latest update would correct a non responsive EDGE browser. This happened on last upgrade and not sure what to do to get it going again. Symptoms, clicking on any link the browser becomes non responsive, have to go to task manager to shut it down. IE & FF run without issue.

    First run of sfc /scannow reports: (multiple times)
    "Info CSI 00002a26 Error: Overlap: Duplicate ownership for directory \??\C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0 in component Microsoft.PowerShell.ODataUtils, version 10.0.17677.1000, arch amd64, nonSxS, pkt {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}

    Second run of sfc /scannow reports "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations" (EDGE still freezes.)

    Repair action would require multiple program/app installs?

    Thinking I would use Macrium to restore 2 versions ago when EDGE worked and then let it upgrade to 17677.1?

    Ideas appreciated

    Did you try to reset Edge in Apps? It solved my issue of not responding!

    I just did several times without any help. Noticed that the last time I had to shut it down (task manager) EDGE was running @ 34%. Tx

    No. For the most part, I never have problems. Thing is, just because we don't see problems doesn't mean there aren't any. We just haven't gone there yet.
