Windows 10 Pro x64 21H1 Build 19043.1151 (Branch: Release Preview)

Started the upgrade of my 2 VMs in the morning and now, 12h later I finally got everything completed and cleaned up. Not sure how long it really took, because I have been busy with other stuff, but at least all went well in the end.

Speaking of VP9, after the upgrade it was just updated, and then I checked the Store for updates and it got updated again on SkipAhead, but not on FastRing. :)

On the codecpacks, I right clicked, hovered over more and clicked on App Settings:

    Attachment 190145

    Wonder what that's all about?
that is what I’d like to know — might be a malicious virus or worm for all we know, huh.

Doubtful, since it showed up with a Microsoft Update.

It's a Video Codec similar to x264 and x265 HEVC, but it's distributed under BSD license and has been developed by Google.

It's a high efficiency codec and YouTube uses it for streaming.

No, I was just joking. @Wynona, I do have sets on one computer. I don't really know why having sets is better than opening your documents that you're working on - say Excel, Word, Powerpoint and the like, and working on them versus having sets which does the same --- or maybe my brain is too limited in its scope and used to the 'old' way of doing things to see an advantage to sets.

Properly customizable sets could come handy, Open a project and in tabs you can have for instance Word, Spreadsheet, calculator and graphic program to print pictures all within one mouse click.

This was a fortuitous build! I had unfixable errors showing up in the OS in sfc /scannow that chkdsk /f did not cure. I was going to load in a cold load of the last build when I checked for updates. This update was available and successfully loaded (whew!) It also got rid of my system file check error(s) and check disk errors. Sweet.

This is a second build my desktop shows solid colour on boot. Have to change to 'picture' and browse for the one I had showing prior to upgrade.
