I've been using Opera Developer 55 for the last few months and you can use Chrome Extensions (with the Install Chrome Extensions extension)...it works so much better than Edge.

Busy last nite. Didn't see the info until just now. One of my machines was ready to restart (Surface Pro 3), one hadn't seen the update notice yet (Dell XPS 2720) and one had failed on the first try (Dell Venue Pro 11). Restarting the Surface now, fired it off on the XPS, and retrying on the Venue Pro: all just now. I'll follow up if anything interesting or unusual happens. Thanks, as always, for the heads-up.

Note added 12 minutes later:
Surface Pro 3 finished without a hitch, already booted into 17677. XPS at "Installing 80%" and Venue Pro at "Installing 48%." So far, so good. Stay tuned!
Note added 1 hour later
Other upgrades finished without any difficulties. XPS 2720 sailed through pretty quickly. Venue Pro took over twice as long (older i5 w/8gb RAM vs. newer i7/16gb RAM -- no suprise there!). I'm cleaning up the Venue Pro and will shortly test if it will reboot properly once again (did so on the second reboot by itself during the blue screen "Updating Windows" phase...). We'll see!

Funny you mention this, as I use Opera for particular things here and there. But my main browser for quite a while now is Vivaldi! It is base on Chrome, but has a much better user interphase, and is just as fast. Many people have never even heard of Vivaldi, but I love it as my main browser. I've all but stopped using FF, which use to be my main browser. After they screwed up all my old addons, it just wasn't worth using anymore.
Vivaldi...yes also tried that for a while, but try the new Opera 55...amazing how much nicer it is these days compared to a year or so ago. Sorry off topic...better shut up
