Can confirm that. Similar size too (think it was about 8.9 MB). But my Downloads folder is still there. Not sure if and what it was deleted..

I never use that default Downloads folder, always on secondary disk. Doing that for many years and never regretted it. Same for documents etc.

Come to think of it you guys are right. My entire Downloads directory was wiped after I did a Disk Cleanup. Interent Download Manager automatically creates subfolders under Downloads (Documents, Programs, etc) and had to recreate them again. Has this been reported to Feedback Hub?

Hahah, while they were at it, why not add the whole users folder to disk cleanup.

They could fix said users folder too, if you type swarfega as your name you expect it to be that and not swarf.
