Problem seems to be Malwarebytes lifetime edition
I have Malwarebytes premium (not lifetime) and my edge is not working. Responds maybe once with a link then locks up.

Yes, that's what happened me. Disabled and edge worked fine. There is a section at the begining of the blog about Antivirus and this build.

It happened before too, luckily there are programs that can display it all. Revo uninstaller for instance:

    It's even more detailed.

The best alternative is Microsoft's own Autoruns. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sys...loads/autoruns

Did you also try from an ISO?

    - cheers, CallMeSteven - I'm avoiding iso's for the Insider Program
    - 17666 is functioning OK, so there's no problem at this end - just a problem with procedure related to build 17672 installation..
    - I have reported the fault to MS via the Feedback Hub, guess it's something they need to know about..

    - thanks for the tip, though..

Since deactivating Malwarebytes everything runs smoothly.
