17666 took about an hour and 35 minutes here from manual check for updates to completion. And the repeating stop and auto-restart of explorer.exe has been fixed as claimed in the release notes.

All seems to be working as expected, but not many apps checked (early days/hours yet.)

Some apps are remembered in more than one window under 'Restore Previous Apps'; the result, clicking on an additional one, is a dead instance...

This is something I'm keen on getting opinions on... I was under the impression dark themes was the way to go (Office put it in theirs as well) ...but as long as there are options, that's the main thing, right?
Superfly, I have eye problems and dark themes don't work for me. Both @Cliff S and @Edwin tried to help me with dark themes, but so far, I can only live with the "white" one.

I just had some surgery this morning, so we'll see what shakes out when I'm up to par again. I should be able to see better, since my eyelids will no longer be at half-mast (covering half of my pupils)!

I'm letting this one download and (hopefully) install by itself; just reading posts until I have to stop.

@bordi, I think some people see better with dark background and white foreground lettering. Its not good for me, but might be good for some people. I recall someone writing that the white background created a glare for them. So, for them its good to have dark background. We're all different in our likes, needs.
And this is an issue that Microsoft has refused to address for those of us who aren't able to clearly see the very light gray font! As long as I've been beta testing for Microsoft, many of us have begged Microsoft to give us back a pure black font, but so far, no luck.
