Ah I thought the System Restore error was just on my PC. Stopped using it now, as Macrium is so good and I have lots of backups.
I used it in the previous build from Safe mode, but now there's no option to get to it in safe mode.

In safe mode System protection doesn't lead to it at all.

To get to Safe Mode I use msconfig

II know how to get to safe mode but System protection doesn't have System restore option in Safe Mode.

Not sure, but don't think this does either. Just the system image (MS version). Can't verify without doing it and not in a position to reboot right now. So, booting from an install media and choosing repair wouldn't work either, because they both use the same WinRE.

There is an option to do a system restore from the advanced boot menu

Thanks, Keith. That's the one I was talking about and couldn't get to to try cause I'm running something. Thanks. I was not sure.

As I'm not running W7 any more I added Safe mode to BOOT Menu:

So getting into safe mode is no problem.
    Problem is here, missing option

Read arrow shows where it was before.
After booting to safe mode from Advanced BOOT menu, there was a message asking for restore point and it worked from there. I couldn't make a screen shot of it as it wasn't on desktop but only on blue screen.
