17666 would not update (same for 17661) ... Sits a Preparing to Install 100% for a couple hours and when it does finally decide to continue it fails and starts all over again ... Grabbed the dump / created ISO / did an in place upgrade and everything appears to be working.
Exactly how it behaved for me and I solved this issue exactly the same way. Glad to see I'm not alone with this. :)

    Hi folks

Might be in a minority of 1 here but I HATE those dark themes and the Distopian undertones (although I love distopian sci fi like RAIN on Netflix etc) !!!. I'm not a starving Millennial or sub teen who really uses computers only for gaming or to show people on Instagram etc as they usually use phones for every thing else-- some people use still use computers for professional purposes.

Please bring back Aero Glass like VISTA had .

However like all these things it's what people prefer of course

YMMV and the more choices users get can we really complain.

    Cheers

May improve in the future but right now those dark themes were not well thought out. Right now I would like an opt out for all but standard APPs like until now.

Excel has...only on Office 365, works very well. Great on Outlook :)Attachment 188151
The problem is a lot of people don't use Office 365. I use Office 16', and there is NO tab. At least not on mine. I really wish there was, as I use Excel and Word a ton in my work. But I'm NOT paying M$ a yearly fee to use office, when I have it without doing so.

The thing that absolutely blows my mind, is that teenage kids can put together excellent Black or Dark themes for Windows, and yet the M$ dev's can't. How can this be??? I have an excellent black theme on mine, with transparency, and it all looks spectacular. They should just open it up to allow the end users to change everything they want to change. I still do NOT understand why folders are drab manilla envelopes???? Why have some style to them, with different colors and themes??? Look how pathetic the icon for drives are in "This PC". They look like old Windows 95 crap. And we are in the 21st Century!!! Some of the cosmetic looks of Win10 have improved a small bit. But things like I just mentioned are reasons to truly scratch your head.

It's easy enough to change drive icons. We have a tutorial for that. Change Drive Icon in Windows 10

Everyone has their tastes, that's your opinion and is respectable, I saw the immense amount of images that you uploaded and I didn't like the transparencies or those icons.

Those icons are fine, in my opinion, they don't seem old at all but, as I said before, it is a question of tastes and opinions,

10.0.17668.1000 (rs_prerelease.180507-1424) was just uploaded to BF. That means we will probably get a build around 17672 next week. No complaints about the pace of this development. Does anybody have a suggestion on where I can get more information on the Ubuntu app in WSL? Specifically, we I wonder whether we will access to the Ubuntu Bionic repos? If anybody needs a link to a 17666 build PM me.

I just happened to check the updates in settings and there was a restart request. I set it to restart and went away for 35 minutes and it was waiting for my pin when I got back.
I see the watermark is back.

This does not affect Macrium Free users, as the free version does not use the CBT (Changed Block Transfer) driver
Or those who have not activated CBT. It does not affect the associated full image backup either.

Yes. I haven't activated CBT. It's just a waste of resources because I shut down frequently so it is never effective.
