I recently updated all 3 computers from Legacy to UEFI using MBR2EFI. I now seem to have 2 OS recovery partitions as well as the main Windows 10 OS on my C Drives.
I was wondering if this might be the problem?
I assume one is for the UEFI and the other is the original recovery partition.
Can the other recovery partition be deleted, and if so which one is which?

Just some thoughts, and if any one else with the failing update is in a similar position.
    UPDATE:
Did a repair install of Windows 10 Pro 1803 17134 which went fine, then did the Windows update and this time it was OK. Now have version 17134.48.
Just wonder what was causing the update to fail at 91% before!

Anybody experiencing this? Build says 17134.48.

    Do we have a fix?

Activity History and Task View weren't working for me after this update. Task View would just open/close and Activity History showed "some settings are managed by your organization" and would just crash Settings. I was finally able to track down the issue and it appears it's because I had Connected Devices Platform Service (CDPSvc) and Connected Devices Platform User Service (CDPUserSvc) disabled. I had both disabled, as it wasn't really clear what they were used for and there were no un-intended side affects with them disabled ... until now. Once I re-enabled and started them, both Activity History (some settings message disappeared) and Task View started working.

Edit: Now that I've turned the CDP Services back on, I get an Event ID 5061 ...

Hope everyone saw the warning from Macrium regarding differential and incremental backups.
Happily I had CBT disabled as it was of little use.

I reinstalled version 1803 (in place upgrade) and finally the update could be installed without causing any boot problems

Tested on two pcs which had boot problems with KB4103721

Nice. Were your systems on 17134.1 or 17134.5 build? I ask that because I'm on 17134.5 on both my laptops, and I wonder if I can refresh installation without having to uninstall .5 Cumulative Update before.

I updated the cumulative from 17134.5 to .48 with no problems.

I had previously turned on release preview to get 1803 ahead of time, then turned it of after it was officially released, then got kb103721.

Hi I've never posted here but I would like to say that when I was on insider builds the cumulative update 17134.5 bricked my pc and then once I stopped the insider preview builds and clean installed the normal April update everything was fine once again until I tried to install 17134.48 cumulative update and yep you guessed it bricked again so I stopped right then and before went any further I just clean installed and tried the cumulative update 17134.48 again before I made any changes and that time it installed . I'm using a Lenovo Yoga 710 with i5 7200u with a Samsung 860 evo m.2 drive . Like I said at the beginning I hope I'm posting at the right place . Just trying to tell my story with these update . You all have nice day.

One pc was on 1709 and another two were on 1803 already. So the 1709 was updated via the iso from MS (I let the setup download all the updates) and the other two pcs were in place upgraded (repair upgrade)
