The only area in Control Panel that will darken is Programs and Features.

For the time being, a good High Contrast Theme looks much better!

Well, I went round and round, and right when I almost had everything very cool, and just about perfect, I decided I wanted my custom folders pack back, as I hate the common manilla looking folders, and that's where my entire system went bonkers! Suddenly I couldn't get the start button to work, and my whole system was screwed up. However, as I said earlier, I do have a couple of Macrium backups. And while I've used Macrium for a long time, I've rarely ever had to use it to actually restore, except a few times where it worked perfectly well. BUT now, when I try to restore my most recent backup, it gives me an error message telling me that the drive I want to restore is actively being used, and so the operation can't continue... Well, in the past it would restart the computer and run to completion before loading back into the os. So I'm wondering what the deal is here? I've tried to move the backup to several different locations, as I have tons of drives. I even put it on an external usb hdd. But to no avail. So any advice from you, or any other Macrium experts out there?

I'll throw this out, just in case it might be the problem.

I was backing up my daughter's computer, when I was told I was trying to back up a drive that was already active . . . after looking closely, for some odd reason, it had chosen (all by itself) the drive I was trying to back up to!

So, is it possible backup is trying to restore to the drive the backup is on?

    Just a WAG!

Thanks for the reply. But I have six drives on this pc, with nine partitions. I have put the backup on four of them as well as an external. I've never seen Macrium do this before. That's why I am caught with my pants down. Anyway, since Windows seemed to have me almost checkmated, I turned to a crazy solution, and it worked! I opened the backup .tib file, and navigated to the root drive of C. Then I opened my active C drive, and dragged the Windows folder of my backup, to the Windows folder on my active C drive. After many prods to continue or skip, it completed and I restarted my computer to have all my functions working again. AND, I still have my customized folders system wide. Not only do have have black backgrounds for Computer, Control panel and all other explorer windows, but I now have transparency as well. Here are a few examples below. Btw, my backgrounds change every few min's, so they are different in different captures. Clicking on them gives a better view.

Is there a way to rotate the ruler in Screen Sketch?
    Attachment 187644
Scroll while hovering on the ruler.

Scrolling on the Protractor increases/decreases the size.

I didn't think my "solution" was the case, but stranger things have happened, as we all know.

I really like the backgrounds, but with my eyes, I can't use the black/dark theme you're using.
