Well, I feel like I'm in the twightlight zone! Mine downloaded and loaded into desktop in less than 30 min's. However, several programs that I've been using forever didn't load, and when I try to manually load them, I get an error message, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)." Then it crashed twice. Now it's up and running fairly well, but those programs still will not load. And I do have sets. A quick way to check sets is open calculator, if you have a tab on the top, you have it.

So, I opened calculator and NO TABS so NO SETS on this computer. The one that took 6 hours to setup yesterday.

This is a clean install of Insider Build 17661.1001. It's an ISO created by a TF friend, saved to a bootable USB stick using Rufus.

I have the same error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)". I installed AVG Free last night, it scanned and I shut down. This morning when I booted up, I got that error message. I tried to uninstall AVG Free, but it won't uninstall.

I downloaded the Firefox Stub and tried to install, but I got that error message again. Same with Cyberfox.

I was in Skype with a friend and wanted to point her to a particular post for some instructions. I right clicked the post number>copy link and tried to paste it into our conversation. No go . . . instead a prior snippet was pasted. I tried again with the same results. Sigh . . .

I don't know if I should go back and do a second clean install or what . . .

Reverted back to 17655. 17661 for me was a rushed build with audio issues (unable to record any audio). Hopefully the next build will be better

Yeah, I have tried all the tricks and tools to overcome this error message, but nothing works. I can NOT download a program and open it. I can NOT even open device manager. So I am reverting back. Which sucks because I FINALLY GOT SETS BACK, and now I'm going to lose it AGAIN!!!!

I would, if I were you @Wynona. That doesn't make sense when you can't install apps that you use on an ongoing basis. So much for progress!
