Have to clear this out.. I'm taking snapshot with keys: WIN+shift+S. After the snapshot is done, it seats in notification area, ready to edit (with ink workspace...)
There are several way to do it - it is good to have choices. Pinning Screen Sketch to taskbar is not the best IMO.

I've got all three of my fast ring/skippy machines sitting at 100% "Preparing to install" right now. Thanks to input from other TF members here, I'll let it sit and spin as long as it wants to. FWIW, CPU Meter does show some ongoing, significant CPU activity underway. I'll post again here if anything else out of the ordinary pops up. It's a new version folks, and we're definitely off to a "new start!"

PS: it may be a status reporting issue rather than a true "hang" or "stuck" condition. My Dell XPS27 reported it was 100% finished preparing to install and then jumped directly into installing about one hour later. My other machines appear to be following suit.

PPS (+3 hours): It really does take FOREVER on older, slower machines. The Surface Pro 3 (i7) is just now downloading, the Dell Venue Pro (i5) is still on "Preparing to install." I should NOT have rebooted those two machines. The other machine (which I deliberately did not reboot) finished about 2 hours ago... Read and heed, o gracious site visitors and members!!!
