Use the uup dump utility and download the files for build 17661. Then use Kari's excellent UUPtoISO utility to convert these files to a usable iso.

None of that will work for me right now, I have no way to do it. I just need an iso. Thanks for your reply though.

Most, if not all, games that use EasyAntiCheat (Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 5, Fortnite etc.) fail to launch on this build.

Here is an interesting little gem in 17661.

Notepad has been modified for first time in donkey's years to now be able to support Linux files.

Come on man... No one can help me out with an iso of this build????? I am stuck and cannot build one of my own. I don't want to tear down another entire build. And I can avoid that with an iso I can upgrade to.

In this build something strange is happening. Thunderbird mail opens now in Edge. Is there something I can do to prevent this?

Boy I got myself into a serious hornets nest earlier today, mucking around with 3rd party themes. Does anyone here have a good iso for 17661? Thanks!

I hope they dont alter it too much, I use it sometimes precisely because it doesnt alter text.

Yep, been the reason for keeping a good text editor around for HTML editing and for writing software programs and batch files, adds nothing to the formatting like a word processor will.

It was probably due to WSL and I bet even the developers decided that handling Linux files was a good idea.

I tested it on a script on 17661 and it worked fine. It was totally automatic.

I have always loved the simplicity of notepad. I doubt it will be further developed.

As an experiment, I am going to try and export the 17761 version to 1803.
