Maybe I'm lucky its not installing. Its hung (this time) at Preparing to install 80%. Before it was 100% but hung there never gave further options.

It's a known problem. Just leave it and it will eventually sort itself out.

Good morning everyone who has entered since I greeted those already here.

Sunshine is out! And I Firefox won't allow me to install The Weather Channel. I keep telling it to allow, but nothing happens! I'm getting a bit put out with such an invasive browser . . . I may have to rethink my choice of browser . . .

I have got 17655 back from a backup. Paused updates for a week. Can I pause a further week if there is no build next week as I do not want 17661 build, or would I have to stop insider builds?

Yes, it's a change made in build 17063:

New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast and Skip Ahead Build 17661 - May 3-share-ui.png

By the way, I edited that image with Screen Sketch using the highlighter and the ruler, so far I found it useful.

Something funny is that "Screen sketch" in Spanish has a long name, "Anotación en captura de pantalla", is so long that it doesn't fit in "About":

I don't know if there is an easier solution, but what I used to do was to disable Windows update in "Services".
