Hi,
to get in BIOS Boot menu using F12 or F2 in other PC you can only access it after a power off, so from Windows a Shut Down command.
From a Restart that entry to BIOS is not available.
Exactly what I was doing, Adalwar. I find that "restart" is much slower than shutting down and booting back up.

Holding the shift key while you restart takes you to the advanced boot menu from where you can boot from a CD drive or USB stick.
Thanks, Keith! I'm looking forward to trying that one too with the next Build! Looks like I'm going to do a few clean installs on Little Lenovo before this is all over. Lotsa testing to be had here. :)

Thanks, Bree. Before I started this journey with Little Lenovo, I turned off Fast Startup to be sure it wouldn't get in my way. So, I foresee more boot up tests in my future. :)

I remember this forum seemed to have just as many threads on FCU release. I still think you get less issues if you clean format install.
Indeed, Swarfega! I firmly believe in clean installs; however, if I'm not having any issues, I don't see a need for said clean install. :)

The issues I have, can't be solved by a clean install. They are bugs that only MS can fix. Other than that, it's a smooth sail for me.

Sometimes a clean install works; sometimes it doesn't. Just gotta take yer chances. :)

just an OT aside - the characters :) no longer produce a . That's just been turned off so that typing things like 'Windows (C:)' read correctly. Others, like ;) for 'wink' and :D for 'biggrin' still seem to work.
