So your sister and friend are not distastefully bracketed as "simple users" then. That's good to know.
That is true, but they both had issues, sister has BSOD, I told them to restore back to their last backup and they are fine running 1709 again.
Now I'm going to get a few calls next week when the May 8th auto-updates kick in for my "simple" user friends and family members.....

I switched to the Semi-Annual Channel, does that only stop "Features Update to 1803", will I get other updates, security, etc?
Yes. All those are the 'Quality Updates', the defer settings for Quality Updates and Features Updates are completely independent. You can seperately defer Quality Updates for up to 30 days. The only setting that controls both types of updates at once is Pause Updates.

Understand, thanks!

I've heard briefly that some machines have been experiencing lock ups and becoming unresponsive. Our laptop received the 1803 update and immediately after became slow and unresponsive so I ended up clean installing the OS. Then last night my desktop machine froze unexplained after approximately 1 hr of gaming. There was no crash, BSOD, Nvidia crash or any app/system errors in Event Viewer that were logged, the game just froze and I was able to kill it from Task Manager. Then when waking my machine this morning it was unresponsive and I had to restart from alt ctrl del.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar or know anything more about this reported behavior?

I had a new issue crop up. I tried pairing my generic Bluetooth earbuds a couple nights ago. If I used "Settings>Devices>Bluetooth & other devices>Add Bluetooth or other device" the pairing would fail every time saying the PIN was incorrect and to try again. When I used the "Connect" tile in "Action Center," it paired correctly on the first try.
Has anyone else had any Bluetooth issues?

I had another crash/reboot/logout. Not sure what happened as I was away when it occurred. Left my computer with following apps open: iTunes, Outlook 2016, Citrix Receiver, Google Chrome, Dragon Medical Practice Edition.
Came back to a bootup screen. Logged in and everything restarted.
I went to event viewer and saved everything. Curious if attaching this to a report in the feedback app is secure.

It's been several days now and 1803 seems stable on my system. They just need to iron out timeline.

.. it's OK
I had some issues w/ 17133 not relaying my apps calls to the kernel but fixed in this one.. no issues really...early days yet - but happier with this release.

It seems the performance has increased with this one.
