Yes , all works fine now , after hours and hours of re-install all my settings ( context-menus!) etc.
Problem is ; I just cant hardly find any difference compared with 1709 ( previous) Windows !
So , WHY are we doing this anyway …………..??
Okay, I got 2 times BSOD - Bug Check 0x133 DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. Could this be related to this update ? I definitely didn't had a BSOD for several months as far as I remember.
Add it to the list of BSODs.
Seems 1803 upgrade has problems, I rolled back to 1709 Solved - Windows 10 Forums
MS made a perfect plan for upgrades, which it has to follow. If only upgrades were as perfect as the planning.
I had a link in Cortana, saying something to the tune of: "In case you want to know where your interests in Cortana are".
I clicked it and it brought me here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...new-in-cortana
In the section that asks: "Was this article helpful?"
I wrote the following feedback(copied & pasted):
I don't want to open Edge dammit, to see news & weather that interest me!
I don't want to be bothered when she "finally"(haven't seen anything yet) wants to show me something while I'm doing something else
I want to click the Cortana icon, look quickly, and close her, sheesh!
The nerve of ya'll having something really useful in Cortana, and then forcing us to go through a click parade to get the info we want.
My "Preparing to Install" took almost an hour and a half before I got the notice to restart. I'm up on the new version. I don't find the new Sound Control panel that is shown in the Blog.
