On a older laptop that I updated using a USB thumb drive (Setup.exe) I cannot open "Set defaults by app".
All the other options in Settings - Apps - Default apps work, just not "set defaults by app". Submitted an error on the feedback hub.
On the laptop that I clean installed it works fine.

Created an USB-stick (8 gb) with MCT, proceeded to do a fresh install. All seems fine.
So bad they still try to push Candy Crush Saga and Bubble Witch and whatever crap is on there by default though. Cheapens the experience, imho. Also: the new Out-Of-The-Box wizard doesn't really let you opt out of setting a PIN for your account, or did I miss that?
Oh, and this little bugger still refuses to switch on :) I'd log an Insider report, but contrary to earlier posts, this fresh install did not put me in the Insider ring. I'm gonna keep it that way, for now. Insider hub was useless to me anyway since it defaulted to my regional one (Dutch / Belgium), which was a barren wasteland.

Is anyone else having issues with preinstalled Microsoft apps like Photos and Maps?
No problems with photos app, but noticed map is missing. Weather, people apps ok. Trying to download maps from store results in error message and states cannot download

MCT ISO was an Insider build here:17134.1. The machine was configured with some options greyed-out after the clean install (no Internet). Insiders channel seems to be open. Didn't stay there.

I got a minor issue after update to 17134.1:
Previously I can just access my shared folder from another machine within the local network by mapping as follow:
\\machine name\shared folder name
Now this is not possible, need to use IP Address instead:
\\machine IP Address\shared folder name

Photos, Maps, Camera, and Paint 3D open and then immediately close. I uninstalled all 4 apps using PowerShell, and then I reinstalled them in the Windows Store. But it didn't fix the issue.

Running fast and sweet for me. Only issue I'm having is my volume control is screwy. Same volume from 2 to 100. Have deleted drivers and reinstalled them twice now. No help. When in a program , WinAmp or VLC, the volume works fine from inside the program but the Windows one (icon on taskbar) is all the same. Just reflashed my Bios so I could fix the InSpectre thing and too nervous still to work more on it tonight. (flashing Bios always makes me a little nervous )
It , the update, didn't mess with my uninstalled Windows apps OR put any games or new tiles on my start menu.

I have updated my windows 10 to v1803 17134.5 through insider build.
Do I have to reinstall 17134.1 which just got released or I can continue using this as stable build?.

Are any of you getting any errors when trying to create a USB with MCT?
I also got an error at around 50% on the creating media phase. I had to re-format my flash drive using default settings to try again because it wouldn't show up in MCT after the error. I noticed that the activity led inside my flash drive didn't start blinking during the creation phase until it hit 50% and it slowed to a crawl. I was successful on the second try though.

17134.1 added a cumulative update for Insiders that made the build 17134.5 so you actually have the latest up-to-date build.
