...it's just decided my ancient 2011 Toshiba (that's wasn't even on Toshiba's compatibility list for the first release of Windows 10) is ready for 1803. Looks like the so-called 'phased rollout' is going to be over in just one phase. :)

Did you do a manual Live Update?
That is probable why you got it.
The "rollout" starts on May 8 for those that use automatic Live Update instead of checking manually.

It crashed my system and then restored back to 1709 Build 16299.402.

I got the update via Windows Update and Install process ended with "Something went wrong...." followed by the message "page fault in non-page area." After 3 reboots I got "Restoring yoru previous version of windows" which brought back my un-updated version OK.

Windows Update now wants to download the update again, but I think I'll try the "Gert update" method instead - after I make a Macrium backup to replace the one I have that's a few days old.

Weird. Can't find my Xbox in Devices.

I starting downloading the ISO via creation tool 1 hour 15 minutes ago and I am only at 52% completed...my download normal speed is 90 mbps!!
