Something I noticed since getting 1803, and the updates after, on my machine.

Watching 4K videos in Edge, on YouTube shows some serious blocky artifacts.
When I switch to Chrome, the vids stream with no problems.

Again this is only since 1803 17134.xx

On three separate computers an Update icon appeared on desktops without my doing anything....clicking on them started Updates....so had no need to open Action Centre to open Update & Security to install.

I suspect being an Insider gave priority for their early release.

Just curious, but did upgrading to FCU cause as many issues for "mortal" users as SCU has been doing lately? People seem top have a lot of BSODs and other weird issues.

Hope we'll get a BIG patch on Patch Tuesday, since a lot is still broken in SCU.

I haven't really had any issues that were totally Windows 10 except the networking issue that tons are having. I did have an issue with an update right before the SCU but that was related to security software I had turned too high. Other than that I had not even clean installed since I did the upgrade from Win7 and then wiped clean with Windows 10. I had done upgrades through Windows Update all the way until this one. I did a clean install of the SCU from the MCT to fix a few issues I had in the Insider 1803 that were minor.

Overall it has been a rather good experience for me. That networking bug in 1803 is enough to drive me mad though.

I get the impression it was a rush job to get it out while it could still (just) claim to be the 'April 2018 Update' (the SCU name was dropped long ago). Some loose ends that would normally have been fixed while it was still 'Insider' only. No doubt a CU or two will fix that.

A few BSODs (never had them before 1803), the 'Set default by apps' crash, and my 'find' - the "RPC server is unavailable. (0x800706BA)" error when making or restoring system images (but only in x86).

Overall all my 2 Machines Upgraded--went smoothly, til I discovered Avast UI Failed to load, and such, had some system file corruption so did clean install on I7 Laptop, I7 Desktop, Left AMD A6 Upgraded--no issues with that one which was strange lol. AMD FX system upgraded fine though

Overall not too many problems, no bsods on any of them though, Avast issue is now fixed so all seems smooth right now, I know I probably don't need Avast, but so far left it installed lol
