Yep, that would be the one to add too. Let's see if they fix this in the Tuesday update. If not, I can post in the thread about the service that is not running in 1803 like they should. He could it add to the list.

    Good find Kado

EDIT: Apparently the other service is not needed for local networks. The required services are in that thread but the
    • Function Discovery Resource Publication

service is not running in 1803 like it should. We will see if they fix this Tuesday.
The other service often stops for me without any noticeable effect.

I just set the other one to manual and rebooted. I also set the

to Automatic. After reboot, my network is showing properly. The other service started and stopped for me as well. I noticed it this morning when looking over things for another thread here.

What adobe products do you have installed on this device. I believe acrodist.exe is theirs.
If it is not to much work I would consider an uninstall and a re-install. If you do have adobe products I would also have a look at their forum.
I didn't believe it's gonna fix it, but yes, after uninstalling Acrobat DC Pro and reinstalling it, everything's ok. Also skype doesn't let me to make calls but after the uninstall/reinstall of acrobat, for some reason i think it's gonna be ok.. (haven't tested yet).
Resetting the app didn't help though..

So far I've upgraded a couple of computers without issues. I plan to integrate the updates coming on Tuesday to the ISO and do a clean install then.

I ran Windows update on my laptop running 10 Pro 1709 and it wasn't pushed to me. Just a cumulative update for 1709. I haven't had this PC turned on in a while. Bumped it up to Pro Workstation and same deal, says all up to date and stayed on 1709. Just a FYI post. My desktop running 10 Enterprise updated to 1803 right away just by running windows update and doing a check for updates.

It won't "push" until May 8, Alpha. Check for updates and you should pull in Build 17134.1.

Yes, that may happen. Manually checking for updates is still using windows update to determine if the machine is ready for 1803. The checks and blocks that Microsoft put in place to control the phased rollout will still apply. As with previous rollouts, machines with known issues won't be offered 1803 through windows update until a fix is in place.

You will only bypass those checks if you download the ISO and manually upgrade. If windows update says you're not ready, it's safest to wait until it does.

I've had pretty good luck with this update. I've only encountered two glitches that come to mind. First is the 'Windows Insiders Program manages this option' notification in the feedback settings. The other causes 2 or 3 of the tiles in my Start screen to lose their icons. It's always Thunderbird, Firefox, and MS Word. The icons come back after signing out/in or rebooting. Other than that, it seems fine.
