I've noticed if you click on Tips when you click on the "Type here to search" you can navigate to News/Weather etc and it brings it up
Yes, thank you. It’s not quite the same as it’s not summary feed we are expecting but I can see how you can reach certain things. What seems broken or removed is the daily feed. I used to find it very handy shortly before leaving for work to click on Cortana and see the local weather, a few news headlines , my traffic for the work commute, my favourite sport teams (Man Utd) next fixture and maybe a calendar entry all in the one box. Just had to scroll up and down. It must be broken or there are server issues as I can’t believe they would remove this. Unless they have moved it somewhere where I cannot figure. All the relevant skills and sliders are switched on. But it’s not just me, I asked my brother and he has the same issue. I think the technical term for what is missing is called Cortana cards or something along those lines. Pretty lame.

I noticed people app doesn’t initially launch after the feature update (at least not on our machines) for other user accounts other than my own. In case anyone had struggled with this just go to store and launch people app from here to bring it to life again

After installation of Microsoft Windows 10 Version 1803 (Build 17134.1), I was unable to open Avast Premier Antivirus and a window appeared which said 'UI Failed To Load' (see image).

I then attempted to 'Change' / 'Repair' Avast Premier in 'Programs & Features' and then after repair finished another window appeared which said 'Incompatible Antivirus Detected - Malwarebytes' (see image).

I then uninstalled Malwarebytes Premier and rebooted, but was still unable to open Avast Premier.

I'm going to do a fresh install now this MS Windows update is available and probably try a different Antivirus program after all the Windows updates are installed.

Have you tried to start "Function Discovery Resource Publication" service? Go to run and type services.msc. Start the service and then change startup type to automatic. For some reason MS changed that service to manual.
Thanks Looey, it is early days but this appears to have fixed my network discovery issues.

Network discovery is finding devices on your network that are connected all the time isnt it? Wonder if thats why my Xbox one keeps getting undetected when trying to cast to it

    1. The UUP files are a bunch of WU component esd files (I had some oddities like Enterpise stuff getting into Pro with that... so don't trust it) , while MCT uses a full ESD file - so they won't be the same
Techbench iso's are MSDN (the hashes should match) and is the way I roll with these things.

    2. If you disable Preview builds in GPO - that goes away and enables the feebdack option list.
Hmmm. Thanks for the insight on that. I'll consider my position and perhaps create a new ISO.

Upgrade went well , all seems fine.
Only one thing , I just can not explain ; I can not set the NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate to "1" .
Its after every reboot set to ; 80000003 !
I dont know if its disabled and if it keeps disabled………..

Someone discovered this also, any solution or idea……..??
