WDBP works exceptionally well, that is a keeper. As for Malwarebytes, well it works as expected.

    My collection of security extensions:
An unamed extension to block tracking
Cookie AutoDelete - to remove cookies
IDN Safe - to block punycode domains
    Netcraft - to block phishing
Poper Blocker - to block popups/cryptomining
Turn Off the Lights - blocks HTML5 Autoplay
    Windows Defender Browser Protection :)

As Windows Defender Browser Protection can do the job, may I simply turn off "Protect you and your device from dangerous sites", which does the same thing?

I have recently found out, that WDBP does not block anything, it is merely a notifier. Just MS mocking Chrome users about, how good Edge is. Basically it will tell you, that there is a malware, but it will not block it.

K9 Web Protection, maintained by Symantec, provides the ultimate security, plus other filtering.
The other good alternative is Avira Browser Safety and of course Chrome's default protection.

I wonder whether the following is true.

"Microsoft highlights that Edge (using Windows Defender) blocks 99 percent of phishing attacks, while Chrome only identifies 87 percent of them."—quoted from Windows Defender Extension Enhances Chrome's Security

I am sorry but I do not like Edge. I do not like UWP apps either. And right now, I am even beginning to dislike WD... (after my latest performance issues with it I am happy running other third-party AV proggie).
