    I didn't even remotely think so, sorry for confusion.

    There's a few days left of this April, I just thought how in a weird way funny it is to see a Microsoft high ranking officer use words "coming this spring" instead of for instance "coming this week" or "coming by the end of April".

    @RingTailCoon Hopefully you meant 1803 not 1809 If you found a source for 1809 , we'll have a bit of a rush I expect

    @Kari Based on my receipt date of the April Update to the OS formally known as Spring Creators Update and my experience with previous Release Preview OS's I would expect public release around 10 days after I received it - which is around Next Tuesday, but this whole scenario is setting its own timetable

    It was 1803, not 1809. Thank goodness I'd rolled back!

    That would put us into May -- not an April update!

    April or May is irrelevant in real terms they may issue Monday to avoid having to change a word or two on the Post download forced use of Edge but I really doubt if that's important, the dates relate to compile date not release, they always have

    Fwiw, it looks the same as the version I produced using Kari's excellent tutorial. I used this to update the earlier one that we all thought was going to be 'the one'.

    If it's not from Microsoft we do not show links to it - That's the rule we work to, Major OEM partners are acceptable also, but not some random server :)

    Many rumors about the release date, this is another of those rumors of a page in Spanish called Microsoftinsider:

    Windows 10 Apr Update will be released on May 9

    Hi folks.

    Middle of may is nearer summer than "Spring" update -- perhaps Ms should have specified 2018 first release or something possibly boringly named but more accurate.

    Not really sure though what the new edition is supposed to bring to the table for the vast majority of users out there other than some minor tweaks.

    Not sure if a lot of people on this board remember the heady days of Windows 7 with all sorts of builds dubious and otherwise appearing every few days -- a lot of fun but I'm sure Ms is trying to avoid a real circus this time.

    It will appear when it appears -- probably the safest way is to have a dedicated machine for Windows insider and join the fast ring.

    Cheers
