Hmmm, that is odd as was a clean install.
Mine is three builds old.. you copied that folders in Explorer?

Edit: got it. It happens with library folders.. did a test with Videos, as it's empty here :)

Seems to be folders that exist in users directory. Doesn't happen on other directories but also happens if you copy the "Programs" directory holding shortcuts in %localappdata%.

Anyone see this? Copy paste a folder in file explorer and the "- copy" isn't shown in file explorer.

    Showing copy just fine here

Before you get too worked up about it - might I point out a couple of things...

@lx07 Nothing new here - I can reproduce the same effect in 1709 16299.371. Note that special rules apply to the displayed names in the Public folder. For example, the folder Videos is shown with the word 'Public' inserted before its true name. This is also probably what 'drops' the word 'copy' from the end.

@AndreTen didn't reproduce the effect because the original/copies were NOT in the 'special' Public folder.

Could be, my user folders with a lot of data are on different locations (as can be seen in picture), but are part of Users path, correct

This is a nasty bug, as ordinary user would have trouble deleting right folder, after copying it

True, but as I said - it's a long-standing bug, nothing new in this build.

@Bree, I've edited my post later... it happens with folders, connected with libraries. Question, if only with original, or added also.

Never heard about it before... If it's that old, something should be done with it. Or with Explorer..
