Hi @cereberus, yes I have the issue in 32-bit 17134.1 Pro, but it's not the install that fails. Clean install or upgrade works fine and (almost) everything seems to work. There are two failures I've found, both citing RPC errors.

The first is when trying to create a system image in x86 14134.1. The second is when booting to Advanced Start up with the x86 14134.1 WinRE and trying to restore any existing system image. The images are known to be good because all previous recovery environments from 1507 up to and including 1709 will restore them.
In the end, as we all know system images are a deprecated feature. That means bug fixing any will be a low or even nonexistent priority.

True, but it IS still included in 1803 so it should be expected to work - and wouldn't the likes of Macrium require the same RPC calls?

Anyway, it's academic now - let's wait to see what Monday brings...

Windows 10 April 2018 Update will be available Monday, April 30

Of course this is a nonsensical sentence
Problem with dictation feature is that it does not work out words by context and homonyms (eg heard&herd) are noy properly handled.

It ends up like the classic UK Two Ronnies sketch "four candles? no fork 'andles!

Recognizing words and understanding context are 2 different things. But Hey, recognizing voice works decently well at the moment. It is a little bit on the slower side though. :)

I could just picture it, if I still had my heavy New England accent, I use to have, when I was a kid.

Now my accent is a mix of New England, southern states(from my time in the Army where my southerners serve), and Fränkischen from the 30 years I've spent in Germany, so Dictation has a real job with me:)

I seem to remember some discussion on whether this was connected to the Sumatra PDF reader being installed.
I don't have that, Keith. I only use Adobe PDF Reader.

    HAHAH! That's so funny!

I have no idea what the educational channels teach or air here in Finland since I watch TV maybe once a year. :)
We currently don't subscribe for any paid channels for our kids. Encouraging them to be more social, rather than just stare at the TV all day.

Good Morning All, Installed this early via Insider Release Preview, having 1 issue on my Asus G11CD Desktop, some reason Defender seems to get stuck on Getting Protection info for a bit, Should I go for another clean install when this releases Monday April 30th? Currently running 17134.1 from Release Preview that I dropped out of this morning, Eventually Defender finishes loading or whatever its doing and says No action needed, so maybe nothing

Otherwise not seeing too many other issues that would warrant another clean install, trying to limit writes to my Western DIgital 250GB SSD, but heck if I have to do another clean install, then so be it
