    64 bit or 32 bit? My tests were with 32 bit, both the upgrade and the clean install failed consistently.

    Hi @Access Denied

    Have you tried the dism method from here
    As @Kari told me, it works very often when even clean installs fail

    @cereberus

    I don't have the issue, I was posting back to Bree in regards to the failed image.

    Hi @cereberus, yes I have the issue in 32-bit 17134.1 Pro, but it's not the install that fails. Clean install or upgrade works fine and (almost) everything seems to work. There are two failures I've found, both citing RPC errors.

    The first is when trying to create a system image in x86 14134.1. The second is when booting to Advanced Start up with the x86 14134.1 WinRE and trying to restore any existing system image. The images are known to be good because all previous recovery environments from 1507 up to and including 1709 will restore them.

    One way we’ve done this in the April 2018 Update is with
    Dictation
    . It’s now easier than ever to take a note or write a paper, with just your voice. With your cursor in any text field either in Windows 10 or in an app, simply press Win+H and start talking. The improved
    Dictation
    feature in Windows 10 will capture your thoughts quickly and accurately so that brilliant idea you just riffed on with your colleagues or the speech you’re practicing for your best friend’s wedding isn’t lost forever.
