I've already downloaded the Media Creation Tool a couple of times today to see if they have slipped the new one in yet.
I take it no new one yet?

No need to keep downloading the MCT. Just run the MCT you have already got, the first thing it does is check for a newer version. As soon as a new one is released it will tell you to download it. It will only show the software agreement if you are running the latest MCT.

This is a new feature in the MCT, starting with the one for 1703.

    Hello,

I have not read all the latest posts but I have an inquiry regarding the Media Creation Tool. I am currently on v. 1709 build 16299.402. Win 10 Pro. I got the Tool and run it. Independently from if I choose to "Update this PC" or "Create an ISO", the Tool starts downloading something. I stop it, I close the Tool, after a little while. So, what does it download, since my OS is up to date?

    Thank you.

PS: when asked to save the file, it just says "Windows"

    Ah, OK, thank you.

I thought that it would recognize I'm up to date already and would not download anything.
